.
Edited to add,,,,,,,,,,,

With the same quality photos.

my email is ,,,,, ..... ......

Gra.

Hey Ben, something strangely familiar about the Vit on its roof photo, where have I seen a pic like that one before I wonder? :eusa-think:

No more stalling, night on the town with the blondes, full write up, maybe a new thread is required here...

The 70 series really is the best looking 4wd, the burgundy one with the rooflights is awesome.

So you have an offroad course available as well....awesome.

Although I am begining to doubt the existence of the girls, you sure its not a 'dudes' ranch?

Photos would help dispel our growing suspicions.....

I am now enjoying your life more than my own.

Pete

Those ARB bags are a good size for a snatch strap and 2x bow shackles (get bow shackles from the industrial suppliers, they're cheaper than from the 4x4 shops or SuperCrapAuto)... I've got ours on the shelf here in the UK!

Looks like it was a good show!

Thanks guys.

Had a great night out last night with the girls!

I also got a few pics! :icon-razz:

Today has been torture though.

Got home at 7.30am after not having had much sleep. :icon-wink:

Then went straight out to Wandon park to carry on building horse jumps. Working all day in 35 degree heat and blazing sun really isnt fun on a hangover. :snooty:

Anyway so me and the 2 girls got the train into the city and went to a really cool pub. It had 6 different levels, and each level had a different theme and played different music. It also had 2 roof terraces which were seriously cool! :icon-biggrin:

So this is me with the south African born Australian, called Becky.

P1020380_zps8523d5e2.jpg

And this is the crazy French girl called Audie.

P1020381_zps647b5ea1.jpg

This is the roof terrace right in the middle of the city.

P1020394_zpse998e38c.jpg

This was another bar we went to that had a roof terrace.

It turned out the bloody trains dont run at 2am on a Monday morning.

So it cost me $50 for a taxi. :icon-rolleyes:

Anyway......................

Been building some big jumps today. 2 big flower planters to sit between the benches we made last week.

P1020410_zps88765f77.jpg

P1020411_zpsb589dfc5.jpg

The middle bits will have 3/4" ply screwed on and this will then be covered in bark chippings and fake flowers.

P1020412_zpsf4001ab0.jpg

The miniature chicken coop is also finished now its had the mesh nailed on.

One of the girls has done an excellent job in painting the train carriages.

P1020415_zps9b214bf8.jpg

And finally me in my Akubra hat with the new saw my boss bought us after we burnt the old one out.

6.40pm now and 36 degrees in Melbourne. :icon-cool:

I'm sat in the garden, which is where I normally sit to pick up wifi. The mountain ranges surrounding the property look gorgeous against the bright blue cloudless sky, and all the trees and plants are bright shades of green. It really is a very beautiful place to be! :icon-biggrin:

Right time for dinner and beer. :icon-cool:

Nice, very nice, better learn some French double quick!
Sitting here, very green indeed!
Well done
Steve

Lovely Ben, only thing is you need a tan, those girls are making you look pasty!

Thanks Tony, I am working on it. Been working in full sun, 9 hours a day for the past 2 weeks. :icon-wink:

This is the 4WD club I want to join:-

http://drfwdc.org.au/index.htm

Website isnt amazing, but they seemed like a great bunch of guys. :icon-biggrin:

Their next meeting isnt until the 3rd Wednesday of March, so a bit of a wait.

I could join the Toyota 4WD club of Victoria, they have a meeting tonight. But their club seemed very formal and didnt seem as relaxed as the Dandenong one, so think I will try the other one first. :icon-cool:

I'm just itching to get out on the trails, so many amazing places I want to visit. :icon-biggrin:

Been busy building more jumps.

Added a bullbar to the lorry cab.

The idea is it will be a mini Scania.

P1020418_zps44065a10.jpg

Theyve got loads of waffle material. All 40mm thick with a non slip coating on one side. So I will be asking for some of that when my truck arrives. Anyone who was at the last Lincomb will know how essential 4 waffles were for driving the rock crawling course. :icon-twisted:

Weve used some for the jumps.

I think I will cut 4 1200mm x 30mm strips which will fit either in the back of the truck, or on the roof rack that I still need to make or buy. :icon-cool:

We joined 2 oil drums together and then clad them in timber to make another jump.

Made some steeple chase jumps. These will have brush (sticks, branches etc.) sticking up from the jump.

I went and visited some friends that I'd not seen for 3.5 years, and decided to take the scenic route rather than use the freeways through the city.

Went though a lot of the areas which were devastated in the 2009 bushfires.

Theyve got a very rare, fast little car. This is thought to be the only one in Australia of the original 120 made in Japan. Its totally original including the super charged engine, sports suspension, and big rev counter and tiny speedo.
When it was originally, privately imported into Aus by some one from Japan, it had to have bars welded inside the doors as it didnt have side impact protection. They also had to add a few other bits and pieces to get it road registered.

It looks shit I will be the first to admit that, but its stupidly quick. :icon-twisted:

Tony S will be back with us tomorrow and I'm hoping he will be staying to help for a bit. :icon-smile:

Honda City Cabriolet. The supercharger isn't standard though, as far as I'm aware, which means that someone's been playing :eusa-shhh:

At least you had it dry! Where we used to work has had parts on one of their bridges washed away (bridge supports the weight of a Truck!), and the creek had come up at least 15' and was touching a gate that's a fair way away from the creek...
