Anyway a though some of you might like to see some pics of the toys we have to play with. Not bad me thinks for £125 a month.

Blimey. You'll need a workshop manual for.... errr for a workshop.

Jesus.
I'm paying £880 a month and my place is empty. Are you subletting or something?

To be honest I don't know what half of it does and half of what I do I have no idea how to use it but hey it sure will be fun to learn. The guy we are renting the unit off used to build custom kit cars full time like 20-30 a year. He has semi retired now and only does a couple a year so he has a smaller workshop with access to all the equipment. There is also a full wood workshop but I couldn't get any pictures today because i have to rewire the lighting in there (So keep on the look out for rear storage systems). There is a lot of work to be done on site which I will be doing for an hourly rate which will be deducted from the rent after that it is a fixed price which is good.

Put an 8x4 sheet on the CNC Plasma today and it cut our 4 collie winch mounts in about 3 hours. just gotta get them welded up and some piccies taken now. only problem is that it is quite addictive to watch.

excellent find matey, little gold mine if you play your cards right that is

What a steal, you've fallen on your feet there!

Very nice. Mine came with a kettle and some big spiders

Very nice, I'm very jealous that looks mint.

I can only dream to have access to that kind of kit one day.

Looks great Chris.

Are you going to be working there full time then making 4x4 parts?

Yeah Ben thats prettyuch the eventual plan. Just from posting ads on a couple of local (north lincs and east yorks) facebook 4x4 pages we have got over 20 orders for sliders already. Plus half a dozen winch mounts and enquiries for bumpers. And the best part is they are for 20 different vehicles. Once we have made a set up (having the customer come down for the day to be fitted up) then they can go on ebay and eventually the website I am half way through building. After that the hope is to do custom stuff like rear drawers. (I used to build band flight cases and as far as I can see there is not alot of difference between them) and again once a basic template is mad then they can go on general sale.

Nice going Chris - better facilities that my mate who's a professional sheetmetal worker!!!

Had a play with the plasma cutter yesterday. Nice to see all the shapes being cut out nice and easy. Roll on the collie winch mounts.
