wow £7k just for a Morocco trip, I spent less than that including buying a truck
(which to be fair almost stayed in Morocco on the first trip) If I was looking for an 80 I would be interested at this sort of price point and vehicle mods and with work being done at a recognised specialist like JV you can check out the sellers claims
Maybe if I sell my truck I can list all the rust treatment and paint I've bough in the advert and add that to the sale price?
It would make a good base truck, some peace of mind knowing the engine should be good, and the axle rebuilds, and all such.
But what confuses me is spending on a winch bumper with no winch, and sliders with a lift for Morocco? The lift I might understand, but would sliders be necessary?
It gives me the impression that the guy just got carried away with bolting stuff on without much thought for its use, but that would have been good in my case, because all the bits he's added, I would (or have) added myself, but for Morocco, I think I'd have thought again.
I would like sliders for example, but I've got the bendy integrated ARB steps and brush bars instead. They have to rust away before I'll lash out on some nice sliders.
I wanted a winch so I fitted the winch bumper to have a winch. I can't see any benefit from a winch bumper without...
My truck's got wheels too, there's a coincidence.
There you go, "now't as queer as folk", as they say somewhere north of Brum....
