Passenger side firewall grommet…easy or a pain to fish cables?

I need to run some cables through the firewall, passenger side. Is it simply a matter of making a hole in the wiring grommet and pushing them through, or will I need to remove the glove box and fan to catch them the other side? I’m trying to gauge whether it’s a twenty minute job or a major pain of a job. Thanks in advance!

Pretty easy. You get all the access you need by removing the kick panel. To remove the kick panel you need to remove the plastic trim on the lower edge of the door opening. You wouldn't need to dismantle anything else. Make a hole in the grommet and push the wire through.

Very much appreciated! I’ll set to it in the morning.

Thanks again, SpinDrift. All sorted and it was very easy, as promised. Now I have a shiny new inverter sitting in the passenger footwell…. Not the best place for it, I admit, but it’ll do for now. Now to wire in the 240v sockets!
