I will always give you a chance because I know how valuable greenlaning is
for us diesel- and petrol-heads - sorry if you feel that some of us were
over-reacting, I don't think I was - if you recall, I said that you have a
point, see one of my earlier emails. I don't want to cause any angst, and
I'm sorry that you feel this way. I work with BORDA and the Scottish Offroad
groups so I know where you're coming from.
The day out is not really (I don't perceive it) a protest. I think choice
of words should have been better!
However, I just also want to add that I'm involved (for my sins) with
environmental and conservation groups in North Africa, I know the terrain is
very different, but the same issues are mirrored all over. I've worked
overseas too, so I know what you have to do to maintain any kind of
homoeostatis - I'm with you Ray, and we are all aware that we have to tread
lightly. Hope this allays your reservations.

Well Pete many people in GLASS /CRAG /TRF & many others still want to
try and save what's left and they have not given up like some ,don't
knock them for trying eh.
