RACOR Filters

I received my Racor 900 FH filter unit yesterday. Ordered from ASAP Supplies at Roman's suggestion. A very professional firm to deal with. V.quick delivery.
Thanks for the suggestion Roman.
The unit is big, to put it mildly. In fact it holds so much diesel that it almost doubles as an auxiliary fuel tank!!
Carefull fitment needed to allow room for servicing and to make sure I can still shut the bonnet.
It is very well made, the clear bowl allowing any muck to be seen, filter changes will be a breeze, no tools required just use the Tee handle on top of the housing.
Cost =A3150 inc P&P & VAT on offer from ASAP at present.

Hi Gareth
do you fit it yourself?
when done can you make a picture and post it so we can see what it is
all about?
cheers

Wow Roman
this is a 'prof' job well done :)))))))
but I could never ever do it alone and who else could (I'll show the
pics to Toyota guys but doubt they will take that 'risk'.
Even now I have trouble with fitting the turbo -Maartens say: we
NEVER fit a gasket between the turbo and the exhaust manifold
but my fellows from Toyota say: 'No way without it'
cheers
