Hi Dave,
Thanks Dave - did they supply a proper thin walled 1/2" or 3/4" drive
deep socket. A lot of companies sell 54mm box spanners, or 54/55mm
normal sized sockets, but they either can't be used to torque the nuts
up properly (i.e. box spanner) or they won't fit into the hubs of the
later model hubs (like the Draper sockets).
Do you have any make/model/part number info?

Thanks, Ian.
Trouble is they are either sold in the USA or of a different type
(socket not box).

I rang Snap-on about availability of the 54mm box spanner - 2-4 weeks
lead time and only 3/4" size. Price ca. =A322.
Still searching for a 3/8" or 1/2" version.

3/4 is OK, too. Actually I already have one, from Draper or similar.
But it's damn too heavy to
carry it in the toolbox.

Roman,
Dana has promised to look into other suppliers of 54mm 1/2" hub sockets
in the US and then shipping them over, but I doubt that they will get
here in time for your trip.
