I am looking to replace one of the rigid brake pipes on the truck shortly and thought I may well replace some others whilst doing the job.

There seems to be several different sizes ie metric / imperial, UNF & metric threads etc.

Any ideas which ones are the standard on an 80 before I order a load of the wrong stuff!!???????

Funny things pipes. I looked at a hardware warehouse in Spain which supplies their trade plumbing people. The pipe fittings were all in inches or fractions of an inch and the threads were BSP (British Standard Pipethread). We sell metric pipe fittings in this country but presumably export imperial sized ones......or would if we could.

If you look through a trade book on thermo couples you will find metric, imperial and gas thread sizes.
