Back in the mid to late 70's the nice shiney side exhaust pipes you could put on ya motor, i had a pair on my 3ltr Capri, sounded awsome,
I was thinking a pair would look great on the 80, not diss similar to the sliders on mine.

Weren't they called Lakeside pipes or something?

Can't remember Chris, i do remember buying mine at a car show on Blackbush air field.

Do you get a copy of The Professionals soundtrack with the pipes ;)

No, mine weren't like those, much thicker with a vented cover over the exhaust itself to stop you burning your legs getting in & out, got a pic of my old capri somewhere but can't for the life of me find the damn thing.

I had a set on my V4 Corsair long with jack ups on the rear, I think they were called side thrust exhaust's & all this [strike:2jyrfhkx]helped[/strike:2jyrfhkx] the car go well but not as well as blue painted wheels

Agh the Corsair dave, i had a 2000E, i remember once in the early hours of the morning pouring with rain the gear stick came off in my hand, the only gear i could get was reverse so i reversed about three miles home, lol
