Lincomb, May 2012

All packed, just waiting for kid to come home from school and then were off.

Have a great weekend every one.
Keep the damage to a minimum, leave the trees alone.

Gra.

really wish i was at Lincomb now sat round the fire with a beer, instead of stuck at home revising. :(

Tony, what time were you thinking of doing the hog roast tomorrow night? :)

Leaving in the morning ETA 9ish see you all then.

Hope to secure a co drivers seat or build a bridge or 2 if anyone needs a hand.

The fire is roaring, beers in hand, dry and not too cold......just brilliant.

See you all tomorrow, I've hd a few tots tonight :occasion-balloons: so I won't be getting up early, expect me about lunchtime.

Where the pics for those of us left on the side lines?? Had such a good time last year.... Really need to get myself into gear!

Trust everyone has a good weekend with minimal dents and bruises!!

it normally starts with cryptic clues about some incidents

then the pics will follow later

Popped in for half a day today, was nice to meet up with some old and some new faces. Weather was good and so was the fun.

Our first Lincomb meet and we had a great time! (Even though we had to leave a little abruptly- apologies for not saying our farewells :( )

It was good to join a few faces and names.....and see so many LCs in action.

Many thanks to Tony and all the other organisers/helpers.

EDIT : Pics added - haven't got any of my own "action" pics, but here are a couple.......

Amazing how the camera makes a decent that was tricky even on foot, look like a gentle incline!

The slope in that second photo looks fairly innocuous, but there was 0% grip, just standing up was difficult.

I also had to leave early (was only there 3 hours!) as I had to be available for work in the evening, annoyingly havent been called (yet!). The drive home was interesting, with about 3kg of red concrete on each wheel.

Next year I will be there for the whole thing!

Nice to meet a few people, oddly kept introducing myself in a formal manner as Peter Keane, which only my mother calls me!

Cheers

Pete.

Got here to find Trevor had just driven through it :liar:
