Lincomb September 7th,8th

That diff looks like it was a bit thirsty for some oil?

Or is one of those new fangled "dry lubricants" ? :wtf:

Anyway, it couldn't have broken on a better weekend IYKWIM, glad you made it to Lincomb.

Dang. I wonder how bad that was before it went bang. Does not look like there is any oil residue -never mind actual oil

wow that's dry I bet it got very warm before meltdown :wtf:

Guys (and Gals!), many thanks for a great weekend. Much better to put real faces and characters to forum names. Lots learned, and friends made. Sorry that I had to bale out today, I had a really bad night with a cold, throat infection and headaches, and really wasn't worth a button today, so I decided to head for home and a hot toddy (no, not another name for SWMBO!). Hope to make it back next year......

Hi Andy nice to meet another Yorkshireman on the forum. I've had a great time this weekend and like Andy above said, more names to faces means a better forum. Many thanks to Tony for the use of his facilities and all who organised another great Lincomb weekend. I can't wait for the next one!!

Andy

Thanks for a great weekend guys. Thanks to everyone who helped out and a big thanks to Chris for his assistance and to Tony for the use of his barn. Made it home safe so will be on the phone to the idiots in the morning and try and get everything sorted

Hi a big thanks to Tony and all the helpers I had a good one and it was good to see old and new cruiser friend and Andy and Iwan. From tonytoyota.

A big thanks from Helen and Shayne to everyone at Lincomb Farm for making our first ever 4x4 outing absolutely brilliant fun . We met so many people it would be impossible to thank to everyone individually so a big thumbs up for the organizers , the scouts , and well , everyone who was there for making us feel so welcome

Can't wait for the next one :icon-biggrin:

Big thanks from me, really enjoyed myself and met some great people. I'll be back!

That was a great weekend. It was good to meet old and new friends again. The punches and trial section were good fun. I think the spectator element of the trial section was great with all the banter. Normally people just disappear to where ever once they have had their go. And we were lucky with the weather. The only down side was that the weekend just flew by!

A big thank you to Tony and Becky for hosting us. It was obviously a busy weekend in the stables so it was good of you to have accommodated us. And a big thank you to the organisers and marshals - the marshals certainly got their exercise running up and down to hill in the trial section.

Thanks to Dave and the scouts for keeping us fed.

And also, thanks Simon Holton from Toyota for sponsoring the prizes.

Another great weekend. Really enjoyed myself as usual. Trial stage tody was great, well planned an a good length. Thanks for letting me go round with you Ed, had a blast.

Huge thanks to the team as usual for putting this on and to the scouts, food was excellent again.

Well, Lindz and I thought this one was a superb meet.
Socialising without the extended family was a pleasant experience. Loved the trial and as mentioned many times already but must be said ..... a huge thankyou to Tony and Becky and all the marshals for the sterling work keeping us in line and thanks also to the Chipping Sodbury Scouts for the delicious food and final carwash.
Already looking forward to the next one .
The fantastic prizes are very much appreciated too. Many thanks to Simon Halton for donating them. 'We' will wear my hat with pride !

As always a great meet.

Thanks everyone who attended. Thank to all the organisers who put there time into making it such a great an interesting event meet on meet.

Really enjoyed this one. Think taking part in the challenge today just finished the weekend off.

What a great event yet again and thanks to all who put it together. Simon Holton's prizes were a fantastic contribution and a really nice touch to end the weekend with.

The trial section was the best yet, more of those please. Was good to get Lil' Blue out again and I finally had a go at the Lincomb steps which I did twice  first time nice and clean, sods law when being filmed it doesn't go quite as smoothly.

Nice to have the craic with familiar and new faces alike, roll on the next one.

Got home at just past 09:30 having stopped into Market Harbrough to a have a cup of tea with some friends on the way and have only just sat down with a beer after bathing the two boys and putting them to bed and then emptying the truck.

Thanks again for an awesome weekends club fun, another classic :icon-biggrin:

Thank you to you all :icon-biggrin:
