yes I was, but spoke with nick last night who runs the tours, and he has something running a couple of days earlier, ie 19- 24th which means we can then be at AO on the Friday for the whole weekend, so I am going for this, just waiting for confirmation of dates from him

Last night he was unsure, said he may go as a visitor if not as an exhibitor.

Hmm.

Had a look on the map.

In theory I could have a week exploring the Atlantic Way in Ireland, then get the ferry from Dublin which must be reasonably close to Galloway......

Only buggerance is Sarah has a reunion in Winchester on the 19th.

We are doing this trip with Nick starting 18th sept till the 23rd, this will give us a couple of days to get down to the AO show at Stratford, (will prob arrive at Stratford on the Thursday).

i know he still has some space on this trip if anybody else fancies it.

sounds a great trip, I woulda been up for going but I'm on a course week of 21st, might go with the Mrs next yr sometime out of mige season.
