That's where the trip starts as a group on Saturday night . Rich will be crossing by tunnel and me by ferry on Friday night we will hook up in Belgium so we may all meet on the road .

Helen and i have the ferry booked for 15:40 on Friday the 18th and return on Saturday the 2nd fully flexi both ways .

And here's my plan -

Friday 18th of August ,1 hour from Calais .

Saturday 19th of August .
+5 hours

+6 hours to Clive’s mansion .

Depart 30th of August .

Same camps on the way home probably skipping the Belgium stop .

I won't be trying that again, I did it once before and it fried my CB but I think the CB I've got now has some sort of protection built in that prevents frying.

No Clive, I bought another one. I usually stick to the UK band in Europe, it stops getting idle chatter from those foreign Johnnies (should that be one n or two?)
