Is there anyone running Propane injection on their Diesel?
Or considering to do so.
Looking for a kit which does a bit more than just off & on with a manual
adjustment.
I know the issue was aired here in July of last year, but the situation
might have changed by now. At least it looks even more beneficial now with
the current fuel prices.

I looked at it about a year ago, as you say, but the cost was horrible: not far short of =A32000 to fit the kit.
They claim "up to" 30% fuel saving, here are some sites in the UK:

You'll notice that all the examples are lorries or commercial vans. When I last did the sums the cost just did not add up unless you do a huge mileage. You may save 30% on diesel, you still have to burn LPG, so the actual fuel cost saving is probably 20 - 25%. My calculations went something like this:
My truck averages about 28 mpg all year round, call it 10km/litre for simplicity. So if I do 16,000km (10,000 miles) / year then I will burn 1600 litres of diesel which, at =A31.20p/litre, =3D =A31920.
A 20% saving on that is =A3384, 25% =3D =A3480, 30% =3D =A3576. My guess is that the middle figure is correct, so if the kit costs =A32000 to fit then the pay-back is at least 4 years. Add in the (unspecified) annual maintenance costs plus some interest and that probably rises to 5 years. The bankers will have stolen all (the rest of) our money by then!
But maybe someone will disagree with me and prove me wrong ...
Incidentally my neighbour has just blown up his Volvo 4wd engine (didn't change the cam-belt & it broke) and has been looking at 4x4 alternatives. He has settled on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 2.5l petrol ... for =A3800. Other alternatives were a Shogun (=A31200 asking price), etc
In this country I think it makes more sense to buy a dirt cheap petrol engined version (pre 2001 road tax rate change) and convert it to LPG. That may not be the case in Norway though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that the main purpose of
using LPG/Propane in a diesel was to increase power output, due to its
ability to allow the engine to burn the diesel more efficiently, or
something. Unlike petrol, you can't run a diesel on 100% LPG, so you
won't save as much money, but it's kind of like nitrous that you can use
all the time.
So it seems to me that LPG is good for all engines: fitted to a petrol
it gives the running costs of a diesel, and fitted to a diesel it gives
the performance of a petrol.
To prove the point, if any rich philanthropists on the list fancy
donating four grand I'll fit one each to my FZJ80 and 200Tdi Rangie and
see if we get identical fuel consumption and 0-60 times...
