Wanted: winch bumper & storage drawers?

The Specialist Engineering stuff looks very good especially the front bumper for the 100. I didn't see any rear ones - does he do a rear with swing out. Same question to Chris Green 90 please

Are you looking for 80 or 100. The answer to both will be yes in the very near future. Should have the 80 rear bumper available with none, single or twin carriers by the 11th of April. By my reckoning they won't exactly be cheap. There has been alot of work gone into the swinging mechenism to make 100% sure that it is up to the Job but I will come back with a price as soon as I get chance to cost everything up. Give me an hour or so. Will also have 100 front and rear bumpers (with same options), Sliders and any thing else I can thing of fabricating by the end of April thanks to a conversation I have had recently with Mr Lomas.

This is the swivel design we have come up with. Very strong, heavy duty. We bench tested it with 300kgs in the position that a wheel would be and it swings cleanly and easily with ease.

Chris - i am looking for one for an 80. My comment was confusing, i just thought the Specialist Engineering design suited the 100 front very well. i appreciate there is more work and materials in a rear bumper with swing out etc.

I'd like to see a rear bumper with single and double wheel carriers Chris.

What winch mounts does the front bumper support?

I have a brand new ARB front bumper, accessories bag is unopened, that I'm not so sure about installing any more, want to take a different direction.
I just want to recoup the money spent on it so no bargain here, but I guess if you are in a hurry and need one then could be an option for you.
It was bought from tbr uk. Pictures available.

Any pictures and price interested.

A few extra pics of the front bumper. Pics of rears will be along as soon as I have them from the chap whose truck it is fitted to. 100 Series front and rears will be ready in time to be displayed at Lincomb.

Hi chris What price is a bare none painted 80 rear bumper please chris. Pm If you like
Thanks
Stu

I think at some point I'll have to look at a rear, have you any plans for a swing out that works with the stock bumper?

Got some pics of our rear bumper today. Not got the swing arm on but you get the idea I am sure. These are available as pictured or with LED Light kit and with single or twin swing away wheel or Jerry can carriers. Carriers are retrofittable, so if you decide 6 months down the line that you want a second one (or a first one for that matter) then it is a simple bolt on part.

Price for a bare rear bumper please no add ons or paint?

Tempted to throw mine away and sart again. I like it a lot. But it doesn't address the UK fog light requirement. I would only want single carrier opening on the opposite side really and I don't need a ladder. But price and quality to look at seem very competitive. Interested to know how winch mount is arranged.Personally I wouldn't want to have to keep moving Jerry cans ever time I wanted a teaspoon out of the back. That's why we have extra tanks. But aside from that I like it. And that front bumper is one of the best looking I have seen

Price for wheel carrier on opposite side and no can holder?

This one, like in the photo costs about 550GBP here in our country, for more info look at his facebook site https://www.facebook.com/4x4specialistengineering

Saulens, it looks like very high quality work and I like the lower half of the bumper but not the double bar arrangement. I prefer the ARB style or the more modern Slee Offroad type lower profile bar arrangements.

There are some awesome facebook photos of a Y61 Patrol taken on the 24th October with what looks like a matt grey Line-X paint job. Could they do that bumper but on an 80 series?

Not sure if this link will work but its the photo I am referring too:

Thanks
Paul.

The patrol is amazing love the linex finish tempting.

I've got the one off the green 80 sitting in my garage waiting for Saturday morning to come and fit it. Looks top notch. I may have bumped my bumper a bit at a pay n play just after I bought it. Oops!
