what film are you watching tonight?

Tonight I watched the 2013 movie "GI Joe - Retaliation" (with Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Jonathan Pryce and Channing Tatum amongst a host of others).

A bit of "Shoot-em-up" escapism with a bizarre plot, unbelievable stunts and frantic CGI . . . I enjoyed it .

The Goodies won .

The Great Wall, with Matt Damon, set in ancient China fighting Dragons and such, enjoyed the action and stunts and SFX
Had nothing better to do, passed the time nicely :icon-biggrin:

Exodus - only cos we were on the film set a couple of weeks ago :)

'Rogue-1', a bit of an aside from the main Star Wars franchise.

I have the DVD, have now watched it twice, but I still have no idea who the main characters are (in relation to the mainstream plot).

I'll need to watch it again :icon-wink:.

A good day to die hard.

Going to watch "Get Santa" again, flippin hilarious, got Warwick Davis in it.
All set in London, shades of Keystone Cops, and Slapstick
If your in need of a good larf, ave a butchers

I have been surprised that nearly every film and alot of series I have watched recently has has a 60 in it.

The other night I watched "Chappie".

Damaged South African Police Droid is purloined by the Inventor and loaded with his new 'self-awareness' personality software and becomes a small human child ready to learn. He is then kidnapped by the bad guys . . .

'WAL-E' meets 'Robocop' meets 'Bladerunner'.

Interesting but it didn't grab me too much.

Bob.
