Hi Jon,

yes, it looks like the transfer box is gone. The garage have said that it was probably caused by wind up that broke the chain. I dont know whether this is the root cause of the problem or whether this was the result of some other problem int he transmission system. I have started a new thread in the 90's section on this problem.
