Can someone give me either the camp site name/post code/grid ref or meeting point/start, and what time the meet/departure etc.. Just got into the office here in Tarvin & its snowing like mad at the moment!!! There's roads closed in Hereford & we were expecting a wagon to come & collect some equipment this morning from Wrexham & they have said the wagon can't get out of the yard!!!

Looking forward to the drive down now, let alone the laning

Good covering of snow here but I don't think it will be stopping long. Sounds like there might be quite a bit out where we're going though I looked on the bbc weather site on wednesday and it forcast sunny for sat sun in that area then yesterday it changed to heavy rain / snow! Good job they know what's happening

I Really dont know what to do as the 100 is pants in this. no recovery points on the front and the 80 i dont dare drive again.

Really dont want to miss it. But if i make it there i dont fancy coming off the road every 200 yards

BTW, just checking out the roads & the A44 is closed thus:

A44 Llangurig, both ways between A470 and Brynrheidol A44 Powys - A44 closed in both directions between Llangurig and Aberystwyth, because of an overturned car.

Yeah, the A44 is your final flight path into Ponterwyd by the BP garage... In fact, if I were to follow Google's route, its on mine too but I prefer to head over towards Bala & come down through Wales that way... I still end up on the A44 but come down it from the opposite direction to you.

I'm sure they will have it cleared by the time you are due through but it might be worthwhile checking again later.

Well nearly ready, CB fitted in a fashion....pushed down the side of the seat Connected it to the fag lighter...it do for now. gonna have a go at getting the aerial off the Disco now but it bloody cold and the only place to fit it is on the front bumper, not sure that will work being so low down, so might just go get a mag mount for now. Right...off to get it sorted then load up. Look forward to seeing ya all......LATER.

God knows jon. If you remember me saying the last time we went out.The passenger front seems to just spin.Fine on roads untill snow on them. front pushes even at low speed. I remember you saying they seem light on the front end. Maybe i need it tracked as it had a bump.Might get it done before i leave. Thanks for the offer see what happens.
