A Christmas rear bumper

I did some speculative emailing with opony-4x4.pl and they seem like really good value, even factoring in shipping from Poland. I think they go under a couple of different names and list their bumpers on eBay where the prices are much higher. Believe they’ve been recommended on here before.

I second Opony4x4. They are just resellers of Fabryka 4x4 products but their prices and service is good (and they arent the ones selling the same items for double on eBay!)

Ive bought and fitted all of the Fabryka4x4 accessories for the 80 (front winch bumper, rear bumper, swing out wheel carrier, swing out jerry can holder, rock sliders, steering damper guard, various brackets and mounts etc.. I think the whole lot only came to about £1800 delivered and the build quality and fitment is spot on.

As others have correctly pointed out..mine did indeed come from 4x4specialist/Lithuania. You will find them on FB.
There are various options like reverse lights, wheel carrier, winch and light guards. The bullet is optional.
Plan it carefully..there needs to be a place for the number plate!

That is quite high praise @Michael Clark and it sounds like your happy with the fitment and quality . Would you mind throwing some picks up of your particular setup?

That does look verywell made @Mojo and thank you for the picture. I think it was them that someone here had trouble making contact with. May I ask how you found the purchase experience?

Yes mate, it would be unfair for me not to
mention that I have seen first hand the specialist 4x4 front bumper take on a boulder and win! I don't think my ARB would have taken a hit where yours did and leave with nothing more that a graze to the paint job.

While im looking forward to fitting one of there turbos.
the welding on that 2nd wink rear bumper looks terrible..

Yes it was the first thing I noticed. the welding wasn't great... Its ok if you've made it yourself on a bench surrounded by crap. And a dodgy wire feed motor. (like me) .. But as a factory finish.. No ! .. Don't know how it passed QC.. My old gaffer would make me do it again...

..another pic of 4x4specialist rear wheel carrier/bumper. Plus they do side steps/rock slidersView attachment 152510
I like the simplicity of the wheel Carrier.. I know its cheating but I'm Gonna copy some Carriers. Iv Started with some 30mm solid bar. and a stub axle and bearings from a Erde trailer. For a nice smooth swing out action... As per the Norm. I'm 'gonna' make it up as I go along:thumbup:

I’ve just had an ARB front bumper from Devon 4X4 for my 100 series, great service and the cheapest I could find advertised. I know it’s for the wrong wagon and also the wrong end, but just thought I would share my experience of using them.

Here is a pic of the front bumper. Ill take more of the rear and rock sliders tommorrow. I added the chequer plate cover for the winch (now powdercoated black). 41814296_512359199236685_2149609416293351424_n.jpg

Here is my fabryka 4x4 bumper. I asked them to add the lower bar in the bullbar, and the answer was : no problem, this is made in POLAND, not china. I didn’t even have to pay extra.
I’d love to see some pics of their rocksliders.

Thank you all for your contributions, and apologies for my tardy response.. a bit hard to type with an ale in one hand and a mince pie in the other :)

@Michael Clark would be great to have a pic of the fabryka rear bumper, also do you have a contact I could reach out to at opony4x4?
