I'm thinking of going to look at a 52 plate Auto Colorado GX listed for £3.6k (115k miles)

I've been online to check it's MOT history and the only thing that shows up which is a concern to me is from a fail on Nov 2014: "Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded (2.4.A.3)" Everything else in it's history is the usual brake pipes, ball joints etc

If I go have a look at it where should I be looking for this rear suspension mounting rust? Boot, under rear seats, crawling right under rear suspension? Excuse my ignorance but I have no history with Toyotas

Look at the rear axle and the body mounts both are known weaknesses in the collie .

I suspect it'll refer to the mounting point for the upper link bar on the rear axle, known week point as Shayne says.

They are a fairly easy fix and my local engineer replaced one and strengthened all the other mounts on the axle for £300 a few years back. Could be a useful bargaining point.
