Broken 100 series rear suspension !

I snapped both upper arms on my 100 series back axle !

Broke at the weld, not seen that’s before !

Two news ones fitted all good, I suggest if you do a lot of towing like me and or have a very high mileage car inspect the upper arms for cracks.

Is that off road work or heavy road towing you doing

Both to be fair, cars 2wd converted as well so I guess there’s more stress through the axle as well.

It’s very high mileage and done a lot of work in its life.

If you are doing heavy work could not some air bag helpers be an advantage for you as they can level up the back end and possibly reduce the stresses of the rear end just a thought give Karl Webster a message and see if he can help with air bags
