The Rolls Royce Silver Dawn has a GPS controlled gearbox. Instead of the gearbox changing gear through feedback from an incline the GPS controls the gear change at exactly the right time rather than reactively!!
I guess it would be programmed to know where you are based on the last reliable signal. Or at least it would have a fail safe mode it could drop back into such as how the standard boxes work.
Maybe no good off road either as presumably GPS knows the gradients coming up lol. I expect in a RR GPR reports the fact you are going to crash, to your insurer, before you've arrived at the scene of the accident.
