UK LC3 South African 120 Series Windscreen Dimension

I have recently imported a 2007 UK LC3 to Lesotho in Southern Africa. I need to replace the windscreen but the car-glass company are concerned that the 120series that they have in stock will not fit my LC3 . I assume there is no difference between the two and they may have measured incorrectly.

The 120 / 125 had different engines but the chassis etc was the same AFAIK.
having a look on ToyoDIY does show different part numbers for the different windscreens though, not sure on how that matters.

A 120 and an LC3 are the same thing - check your VIN code for the model number if unsure

Think the part numbers may refer to the tinting differences btn LC3 and 5 Crispin - but who knows hey!

If unsure, pop on to LCCSA.CO.ZA and ask one of the 120 Prado owners to confirm for you. I'd expect them to be the same - can't see mr T running different assembly lines like that ...

I was thinking Gary, it would probably be the tint thing and also things like "has the satnav antenna on" etc.

In ToyoDIY is states the screen for my LC is " ENGLAND" model.
Not sure what the diff is though...


Simplest would be to get the VIn number from another one and see.

Might also be different specification glass to suit local glass performance regulations.

I would expect size to be the same.
