Yesterday a dreamer ...Today an owner

As the title suggests, I've just bought a Landcruiser
Took a huge chance as i havent seen or heard it but I don't have a lot of worries based on the pictures below and the reputation of the vehicle precedes it.
Now comes the tough part... Prepping it for an epic overland expedition

I was amazed when i saw the chassis rails after some of the states i'd seen

The old guy who had it took it back to the dealer to even get the wiper blades changed ?!!
FSH since new from a dealership.
Just starting to assemble the parts for a overland build .

I'm hoping my luck has changed. i've had some terrible cars most notable being the Astra i bought in the early 90's which was in fact THREE Astras !!?

I looked at some and was gonna go for the new matt paint effect which is all the rage, even considered a plastic wrap thing. But it's very blue as you say and i think its going to stay that way.

Black roof rack and winch bumper/rear bumper will set off those wheels nicely.

I spotted one in Dublin sold on donedeal.IE same colour already prepped with a roof tent and loads of overland gear. I almost bought it. Glad i didn't . I learnt from old aircooled beetles its better to create your own custom F**kup than try and sort someone elses out
