Three years ago i needed to replace the front section of exhaust on my 80,the bit with the flexi section in, i thought do i go to milners or use genuine yota, chose the latter, six months ago there was a hole just below the flexi which i repaired with a bandage from halfrauds & then wrapped some thin tin round and all held on with two jubilee clips, still holding good today BUT iv'e now got a whole just above the flexi, 20k since fitting, as i went down the genuine yota route i'm dissapointed that this has failed so soon.

I do have a backup section luckily purchased from Rob

Hi joinerman, fitted a stainless steel exaust to my 80 16 years ago and havent touched it since,if i recall rightly it cost about £350,been well worth the money and the polished tailpipe looks great.

Just an update to say my repair is still holding up.

Probably the kiss of death saying this, lol

How much did you pay for the genuine exhaust compared to milners?

Ben, if i remember correctly it was about £165. only talking about the front section though.
