An update is overdue, the winch is all in but I'll cover that later.
For the last few months, the indicator units in the ARB bumpers have been misbehaving. The indicators work intermittently, there's a lot of corrosion in the holders and the sidelights are non-functional and stuck in place - probably not helped by being mounted the wrong way round so the drains/breathers were at the top, not the bottom. Thankfully ARB have finally seen the light and released a set of fully sealed LED units earlier this year, but none of the UK dealers have any and Arbil weren't going to have any allocation until the end of the summer.
So, a little care package arrived from Ben this morning, looking suspiciously like a block of Columbian flake.
Fortunately, after breaking through the packaging (and very well packaged it was!) it turned out to be the ARB kit. The original mounting system bolts through from the back of the light units into the mounts; they've created adaptor brackets to convert the rear-mount LED units to suit this, and used some proper Superseal connectors. You even get new mounting screws, but the half-dozen scotchblocks they include went in the bin
