Lincomb weekend June 7-8th

Some great pics. Thanks to all those involved for putting on a good show. Shame I couldn't really take part with the weather but if I will bring a knife to a gun fight.... Decent tyres on the cards methinks, might at least mean I can get from one side of the camping field to the other! Was fun watching everyone else sliding around in the mud, and those on all terrains provided extra entertainment

We spent about 2 hours cleaning the car after we got home. That red Lincomb mud really sticks!!

Well now that I have beaten the roof straight and found (I think) a window, I can now concentrate on giving my thanks to all who made this possible.. What a fantastic time we had...including the thunderstorms and mud! Thanks to the superb organising team and to Tony and Becky.....brilliant hosts as always....the pig was great...hope you've finished the left overs by now! Loved meeting Sid and looking forward to seeing him driving soon . Great to catch up with everyone and meet some new faces too, already looking forward to the next one

Excellent pictures everyone. It was great to catch up with everyone and chat about our Australia trip, apologises that it was just a short visit, but work and other commitments got in the way. Thanks to all who organised the event, I had a great time, even though we never left the camp ground (too slippy to risk the truck, plus I haven't got the time to clean it!). Maybe one day I'll have an 80 that I won't mind risking the odd bump or scratch with.

We got back from Lincomb last friday after our round trip of 5092 kms. Truck returned 29mpg. It was really good to see so many of you over the Lincomb weekend.
Many thanks to John W - the earth wire was showing signs of overheating and the switch has been replaced and a new voltage regulator is on it's way to us. Great weekend and well worth the trip.
