Beau, the extra wire is the orange light I'd guess. I don't have that. But it's will be like you main tank, with a warning light for low. Well I know I am low - that's why I am on the sub tank. So I haven't wired that up.
Chris, I like that. Hmm. I have all the right gears, but it means pulling the rear extension housing off, pulling the VC out and the pinion shaft, then doing the same from the manual gearbox and swapping them over. This isn't do do with tyre sizes. It's because I have a petrol t box in a manual diesel. So, If I had one of these and just lied about tyre sizes it might work. there'd be some guess work I think. Currently it is read out, the WRONG way. When I am physically doing 70 mph, my speedo reads something like 65 mph. So when I do 70 by the speedo, I am actually moving at 75 mph in reality. That's opposite to what you normally get. Usually when speedo says 70, you are in fact only doing 67. Good for not getting speeding tickets. It read right until I swapped the T box. That might look expensive but if you have ever tried to take the rear extension housing to bits, you'll realise it good value. And I'd need to do that twice. I'd rather swap the whole box.
