UK 80 series manual 24v diesel

Jon, if you decide to call a work party to get the truck tip top - I'd be delighted to help out. OK great to do things yourself, but I think we'd all agree that you've nothing to prove in that dept. Have to say if I ever had another, I'd be only to happy to have help to strip. change, adjust, grease and titivate. Still indebted to Scott for the tranny change (oooer) but essentially have completely bottomed two trucks from scratch on my own. And frankly, I am tired. Next one has to be a minter or not at all.

Chris

Thanks for the offer Chris, I'll keep it in mind, especially if I need some discs skimming  Little lathe turned up today, just need to make the bench it's going on now to be up and turning pinion spacers again :) I'll give you a shout when I get to sorting the stereo out anyway because Jess is keen to have DAB as well as the FM/IPod/BT which she's got used to in the A8.

Congratulations

Welcome back to the joys of 80 series ownership. I look forward to your pending project threads!

Good news, come on Jon what have you got?
I bought the one off Autotrader Julian. Went and had a look at it with Frank in his 100 and then drove it back :) It has a few faults that need sorting out but nothing I can't handle and it could have been a long wait and lots of wasted time and diesel if I held out for a perfect one.

Pics!!!!

Well done

I only have the pics stolen from the Autotrader advert just now Gary. I'll take the bull bar off in the morning and then I might take some of my own ;)
