The arm and dis-arm buttons on both my keys are beginning to fail. I need to be on top of the car to lock and un-lock it. Is it just a case of new batteries? I thought they might be the rechargable type.

First proper long distance run in my 120 sees me and family heading down to south of France. 822 miles through the night. Will be very interested to see how the cruiser compares to my old Disco 3.

Bored of looking through the manual, so can anyone tell me how you know the Shift Lock is on or off? No dash warning light appears to come on. I assume this is for holding gears when in semi-manual mode?
So, what's everyone's view on using the "super" diesels? When I had a petrol V8 Holden (OK a VXR8 over here) I always used the V-Power stuff and reckoned I got better MPG which just about paid for the increase cost of the fuel. Worth using similar diesel fuels in our Land Cruisers?
Told by dealer today that Toyota no longer do a hands free kit for the 120 LC4. He is arranging a third party fitter to come round and install one instead. Does this sound right? He also had carpet mats and not the rubber ones I had asked for.
Looking to buy a 2011 LC after muuch soul searching and an unwise purchase of a Santa Gay. But before I take the plunge I'd like some reassurance on the build quality of the latest in the line. All comments welcome. Thanks.
