As I have been out of the loop for a while, I thought I would ask a couple of questions as I go through my 80. I have searched quite a bit on here and have found lots of useful info for doing the work but the main things are obtaining the actual parts. 1. I am going to install a separate trans...

    80 Project Build

As I posted recently I now have another 80, bit of a different model spec than I've had before but this one came up and I liked it. On the surface it looked great, and it is, I just have a long list of things to do to it as it seems to have gone through many various uses. Lost count of the...

    Alternator failed in France

Just getting off the tunnel on my way to Paris and all the dreaded lights came on the dash :icon-rolleyes: it was nothing obvious like belts/fuses/circuit breakers/connections etc so kept the engine running and got straight back on the next train without switching it off and made it to Folkstone...

100 Series Radio Head Unit Replacement

Has anyone done it? Not worried about the wiring or mounting side of things but the existing head unit seems to be slightly overlapped by the dash panel and the opening may not be large enough for the new one to poke through, I know some have the thin strip around the edge that can be left off...
